Victim Advocates & Legal Advocates
The ideal candidates will possess working knowledge of the legal and/or criminal justice system and have a strong compassion for victims. The Victim/ Legal Advocate will also need to have familiarity with community systems and be able to build collaborative partnerships with police departments, community organizations, government, courts, and nonprofit partners. A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice, Social Work, or related field, AND one year experience in a domestic violence agency, child abuse agency, or rape crisis center, OR Graduation from high school, two years coursework in the disciplines listed above; and three years working in the legal system, social services agency, or work in a domestic violence agency, OR
A combination of training and experience that is equivalent to the training and assistance listed above is required. Competitive salary and excellent medical and dental 100% covered.
Bookeeper (part-time 30 hours)
Seeking an individual maintain financial and contractual records and handle payroll and bookeeping. Must be personable and able to adapt to various duties office duties as needed. Will be the main financial support person for the Executive Director . Candidate must have a bachelors degree in bookeeping, accounting or related feild OR an Associates degree and three years expereince.
Receptionist (part-time 20- 25 hrs)
Seeking a receptionist to greet clients and handle phones Other duties include filing, light typing and some data entry. Must be familar with MS Word. Must also have an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
